The Dallas Arboretum and The Dallas Opera Hit a High Note With an “Evening Under the Stars” Performance on September 13 and 14

 

The Dallas Arboretum and The Dallas Opera will hit a high note with its “An Evening Under the Stars” performance on Tuesday, September 13 and Wednesday, September 14 from 7-8 p.m. on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn overlooking White Rock Lake. Gates open at 6 p.m., and guests are welcome to bring their own picnics or purchase food from local food trucks. Ticket sales are open and are expected to sell out. 

 

An Evening Under the Stars with The Dallas Opera

The Dallas Opera presents rising young artists and members of The Dallas Opera Orchestra and Chorus for a night of opera favorites under the stars. Hosted by Ian Derrer, The Dallas Opera’s Kern Wildenthal General Director and CEO, guests will hear a specially curated collection of arias and song. Guests can enjoy their dinner by the lake and raise a glass to the end of summer with the sweet sounds of Gershwin, Offenbach, Mozart and more. 

The performance will be approximately one hour with no intermission. 

Tickets range from $10-$25 and include parking: adult member: $20; child member: $10; adult guest: $25; child guest: $12. Tickets are on sale online here or by calling 214.515.6615.
