"Back to school, back to school, to prove to Dad I'm not a fool. I got my lunch packed up, my boots tied tight, I hope I don't get in a fight."

You might remember Adam Sandler singing that little gem in the 90s flick "Billy Madison." Even if you've never heard that tune, we think it's pretty fitting for what is the first day back for thousands of students across Dallas-Fort Worth.

The first day of school is a big deal whether you're sending off a kindergartener or a high school senior. We know you snapped dozens of photos this morning as your reluctant child(ren) hopped onto the bus or climbed out of the minivan toward their school's front doors.

We want to see those photos, and so do your fellow neighborhood BubbleLife readers! We invite you to submit back-to-school-related photos to your respective community's BubbleLife page.

If you're a district or school representative, PTA or booster club parent, or a proud grandparent, you're encouraged to send us your "first day of school" photos with captions and just a bit of basic information. After that, our editorial team will approve your post, and your back-to-school story will appear online and in your community's next newsletter.

We look forward to reading your stories and seeing your photos, and we wish you a fantastic school year.
