The Omni PGA Frisco Resort has been called the home of modern golf, and with its two beautiful 18-hole championship courses its easy to see why. This fall, however, golfers will flock to the Monument Realty PGA District, where the resort will offer a fun collection of golf events perfect for all ages and skill levels.
The entire PGA Frisco team is dedicated to growing the game of golf. Starting Wednesday, Sept. 6, The Dance Floor, the resort’s massive putting course, will feature a different 9-hole themed course to encourage children to pick up a putter and learn to play. These courses will be free every Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. for children of all ages and skill levels; children can bring their own putter and golf balls or rent equipment from the Starter Shack for $5. No pre-registration is required.

Is your short game strong? Those golfers are invited to try their hand at the Low Score Putting Challenge on The Dance Floor. Thursdays from Sept. 7 through Nov. 301 from 6-9 p.m., this free contest is open to golfers of all ages and skill levels. Participants can bring their own putter and golf balls or rent equipment from the Starter Shack for $5. Live scores will be broadcast on the video wall every 30 minutes to recognize winners. Prizes will be awarded weekly.
Mondays beginning Sept. 11, the Monument Realty PGA District will host “The Swing” Closest to the Pin Challenge. Through Oct. 30, golfers of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to tee off on The Swing and participate in a free "closest to the pin" challenge on each hole. The contest will be open to all participants teeing off after 5 p.m. The players at the end of the season with the most wins will receive a prize. Small prizes will also be given out each week to the top performers. The last tee time each Monday is 9 p.m.; the course closes at 11 p.m.
Tee times are first come, first serve; guests do not need to pre-register. Pricing for each round is listed below; green fees are inclusive of challenge participation. Participants can bring their own clubs and golf balls or rent equipment from the Starter Shack.

Golfers seeking a longer commitment can sign up for the "The Swing Stampede," a weekly league on the PGA District's short course, The Swing. The league will play every Tuesday night at 6 p.m. from Sept. 26 through Oct. 24. Each week, up to 24 individuals will compete in a variety of formats for prizes, including a grand prize at the end of the season going to the leading scorer. The format will be randomly pulled from a cowboy hat every Tuesday just before 6 p.m. Groups of six will be assigned on the night of each contest. Registration is limited to 24 participants for the full five-week duration. Player substitutions are not permitted, and refunds will not be issued for missing a week. This is an individual contest and not a team competition.
