Attendees can learn, create, connect and shop the latest DIY trends inspired by creativity and passion for craft-making. The two-day conference and expo will provide 100+ Pinterest-based classes taught by experts in DIY, home décor, food arts, fashion, beauty, self-improvement, party-planning, photography and a full tradeshow floor with over 300 vendors. WHEN: The event will occur Friday, Sept. 30, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 1, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

WHERE: TexasPinners Conference will be hosted at Will Rogers Memorial Center, located at 3401 W Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76107.

COST: General admission is $10 and includes access to the tradeshow shopping floor. Children 8 and under are free. Class materials sold separately. Multi-day passes are available.

The Tarrant Area Guild of Storytellers will share spooky stories At NASH FARMS in Grapevine Texas for Halloween on Friday October 28, 2022 from sunset to moonrise. Stories will rang from rib-tickling to spine-tingling. For over two decades the Tarrant Area Guild has celebrated this Halloween tradition in Grapevine it began as "Tales by the Rails" in the 90's' and is still going strong. Mixology Mondays classes are hosted weekly at The Parlor, inside Sheraton Dallas, from 5-6pm. The cocktail featured varies weekly and reservations are required. The cost is $30/per person which does not include tax and gratuity. The interactive mixology classes are led by the hotels talented Mixologist, Adam, who has explored more than 43 countries and worked at luxury properties and bars across the world. Guests can have fun mixing a cocktail and then enjoy the delicious creation. Reservations are required.

Complimentary parking at any of the hotels restaurants and bars for up to 4 hours is available in the hotels parking garage across the street from the front entrance. Please bring your parking ticket and present it for validation.

Where Young Visionaries Take Their Ideas Higher

The Change Bowl is more than a competitionits a launchpad for young changemakers (ages 818) with bold visions to improve their schools and communities. Inspired by the popular Shark Tank format, participants take the stage to present innovative, community-centered ideas to a panel of judges made up of local leaders and changemakers. These judges will ask questions, offer feedback, and ultimately award funding to help bring the most promising projects to life.
